![]() ![]() I tried resetting for almost 3 times now in a span of 1 year and its very easy until yesterday when this REAGENTC.exe False appear in the middle of recovery, I thought it was only a random error so I tried again but still it keep showing up and because the error appears in the middle of recovery, I have no OS to boot and it directly sent me to BIOS settings and so I thought maybe I try again, I tried for almost 4 times! but its still showing up. I have used the MSI burn recovery feature via USB. ![]() I planned to completely reset my laptop in default factory settings, not because of a virus problem or anything but only because I want it fresh just like the first day I've used it. My laptop is an MSI GT70 Dragon Edition 2 which my kind mother purchased for me as a personal laptop way back May 2014. You'll see a handful of users experience this and most of them ended sending their laptop to MSI Service center which is a a real pain if this is your "main" laptop that you are always using. If you searched in Google about this " REAGENTC.exe False". The error is called "REAGENTC.exe False" that appears in the middle of the recovery process. ![]() I just want to share what I did to overcome this "unexpected" and "time-consuming" problem I encountered when trying to restore my notebook on default factory settings using the MSI Burn recovery feature.
